Special Qualities - Best

As already discussed, skill and form are the most important aspects to take into consideration when picking your team however there are a few special qualities which are very good and can sway a game in your favour.

Freekick
This is a very important quality to have in a player and every team should have one. For example, when it comes to free kicks, an 8 star player without the freekick ability couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo, but a five skill with the free kick special ability slots them home frequently. So, for free kicks I think it makes a noticable difference.

(The freekick quality works very well in games where there is cheating, as there will be more freekicks round the box area.)

Cool
The cool ability is also a quality which every team should have as it increases the chance to score penalties by 50%. A goalkeeper with this quality will be somewhat better at saving penalties compared to a goalkeeper without this special quality.
Also, every player with the cool quality will perform somewhat better during the last part of the games and also in extra time.

Alrounder
I personally like the alrounder quality in a player because they can play in any position without any dip in thier game play. I always think everyteam should have at least one player with this quality in thier team incase there is a period of injuries for a particular area in your team. Also, the more of these players your have the smaller your team can be.

Goal Instincts
This is an obvious one. If you have strikers with this quality then they will on average get you more goals than those who dont. If you can get a striker with the goal instincts along with heading ability or quickness, then you are on to a winner. Although these players dont come cheap.

Heading Ability
The heading ability is what i always go for in a defender because they will win most of the crosses that come into the box and also from set peices than those without the quality. The heading ability is also very good for strikers who's team play wing plays.

Quickness
Quickness is very good to have for strikers and defenders for obvious reasons - although I prefer it in a striker. Players with the quickness quality will score more goals when 1 on 1 with keepers than those who dont.

Hard Trainer
This is possibly the best special quality that a player can have. This is because the players form will almost always be above average which results in less training required and less training means more funds being available. Ive had young players gain skill and not played any games purely based on having this special quality.

Intelligent
Any player which has the intelligent ability will perform better in games. Also, if you plan to play with a playmaker in your team then make sure he has this ability as he will perform much better than one without.

Leader:
A leader is perfect in the role of team captain and if he is one of the team's more skilled players he will inspire the rest of the team to achieve more and be especially useful when the team is struggling.

Shooting Power
Players with the shooting power ability are very good at getting goals outside the box so if you plan on playing long shots then this ability is a must. If you can have a freekick specialist who also has this ability then you are onto a winner.
