There are only 3 agents in Xperteleven which can be classified as being 100% reliable with what you see on the transfer market page with regards skill and special qualities. The others can be described as having 'differing percentages of accuracy'. However also be aware that there are 3 agents who always lie, just to get as much money as possible. Which agents who will try to fool you is a well kept secret and it is up to the you to decide the good from the bad.

My advice when dealing with agents is to evaluate any wanted players over a value of about 2 million funds, this is to prevent getting stung by the agent. Any player lower than this amount then its up to you whether you want to pay the 250000 to evaluate them. I personally wouldnt unless i had quite a bit of funds to spend.
